The latter has embarked on a mission called *ShakthiSAT* to involve 12,000 *girl students* from 108 countries, ages *14 to 18 years* (making it open to CSEC and CAPE students), by providing STEM education on a space exploration mission (which in turn covers many STEM areas). It will do this by giving them an opportunity to build and launch a satellite aimed at the lunar orbit.
